    More about me

Hi there, it's nice to meet you. I go by Rob.

First things first. I'm a versatile writer, editor and creative partner. I'm also big on grammar, style, tone and voice. That said, I don't lose sleep about the Oxford comma, the serial comma or whatever comma they call it. You have to be flexible these days.

Currently, I serve as Brand Voice Lead, founding member and co-leader of Studio 361--TD Bank's first-ever U.S.-based full-service in-house agency. As CD of Copy, I oversee TD's U.S. brand voice, editorial standards and tonal style. Of course, I couldn't do that without a wonderful team of 10+ full-time and contract copywriters--humans I respect, admire and adore. We work hard, we have fun and we handle a wide variety of national, regional and local brand and marketing initiatives across diverse retail and small business channels--from digital, web and physical environments to video, social/content marketing, new-media and print.

Before I started my journey at TD, I served as Head Writer for Capital One’s Consumer Bank. Before that, I did much the same for many people's favorite orange online bank, ING DIRECT USA (RIP). I write for a variety of media, from digital marketing and print to radio, video and social media--it's different each day. Mostly, I'm known for my super tight body copy and crisp, direct, conversational voice--no matter the business, channel or content.

Now for the important part--I have a good life. My wife and I live in Wilmington, Del., in mostly empty-nest style. Our sons are recent college graduates, and we're still coming to terms with the whole "kid launching" thing. That said, we're not above occasional monetary/culinary incentives to entice the kids and their friends home for a visit every so often.

When not working or napping, I'm a big fan of dad jokes, inexpensive wrist watches, indie music and rock shows, ugly(ish) sweater vests, cured meat products, expensive beer (cheap beer, too), dog-eared moleskins, old-school sneakers and Philly sports. And yes, I'm still basking in the afterglow of the Birds’ first-ever Super Bowl Championship. Which feels like a million years ago. #PhillySpecial

Anyway, that's the scoop on me. Look forward to working with you soon. Thanks for stopping by.
